Fuel filler neck problem

I just yesterday installed a fuel filler neck for my 1991 Ranger Supercab longbed. Today I tried to fill my tank up and I couldn't even get a gallon of gas in before it shut off. I didn't trim any hoses, I just popped it in. Can anyone help me? I am down to like 1/4 tank of gas. Thanks.

I looked at the fuel neck about 30 minutes after posting this, and realized the neck was bent and the metal connector piece wasn't all the way in. I'll have to drop the tank and shove the metal piece in to get it straightened out.

its usually easier to pull the bed then tank bolts and straps on northern trucks you usually dont want to touch them lol
