Fuel Economy has vanished...time to replace things..
Well, I went from averaging 23 MPG highway+city with a truck cap to now averaging around 18 MPG highway+city with a tonneau. I know the PCV valve needs to be replaced, as well as the plugs and the wires. I'm wondering if the O2 sensors need to be changed out as well. The truck has 66,660 miles (yes, the Ranger of the beast) so I'm not surprised if they need to be changed. Is there any way to test them prior to replacing them?

Well, the PCV valve is a little dirty on the outside, but functions perfectly. The elbow holding it in place needs a replacement but is not leaking as of yet. It's looking like the culprit is old spark plugs and wires. I know the only cylinder has been cutting off and apparently was not running for a long period of time. I was planning on getting the screaming demon coil pack at some point so when I change the plugs I can gap them for the pack. Looks like I'll be doing this sooner rather than later, argh.
