Finally did it (camshaft synchronizer)
After weeks of sitting on my desk I finally got around to installing my new cam synchronizer. The reason I put it off so long was due to fear of having any timing issues. It even got to the point where I actually thought about taking the truck somewhere to have it done and I am glad I didn't. I did the "distributor" method and 20 minutes later I felt satisfaction when the truck fired up fine and I saw my oil pressure go right where it should be. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here, not only for asking about this so often but being so helpful to those who did. For the heck of it I'll add the links to the how-to's I read and re-read in hopes this comes up in future searches so that the knowledge may be passed on to others. I have had my truck since Jan 06 and have loved every minute of it. Thanks again guys.
