Duals For 06 Ranger Sport 3.0

I went to a shop here locally where i'm at, and they are going to install Flowmaster 40 series dual straight pipes for $350. is there any way that i can get the same set up for cheaper and just do it myself? if so, please let me know.

Dual straight pipes meanin' takin off the cats? If so, that is a good deal considerin that the shops can get hammered for doin so nowadays! If not, search around and compare prices, also see if they have picture books of there work and that'll tell you why the prices are steep or low! When I first got mine done, had it done for $225, and last time it was $330 somethin b/c I had put a blower on and had the cats removed and with dual in and dual out straight pipes!

My muffler, dual mandrel bent pipes, and stainless tips ran me $320. The tips were $40 a piece though... Just shop around and see if other shops will do it for cheaper.

MY 40 series i bought for 100$ from jegs....found a place locally who installed and did everything perfect with tips for 200$....

If they are doing mandrel bends, 350 is a good deal...

get on ebay and get a flow 40 series for ~$50 shipped, then go get price quotes on how much WITHOUT the price of the muffler, thats where exhaust shops make a lot of easy money..

I took the easy route...bought a Flow 40 for $70 and had the guy cut off my old setup and stick on the new one for $60. No extra money spent for pipes, bends, tips, etc. Just dumped!
