Alright, regarding the cam synchro, I put my fingers on it the other day to feel for grinding or abnormal wear, while the engine was running... and only felt what is like when you turn the flywheel on a lawn mower by hand, it 'clicks' as it passes the magnet.
I figured that is normal, so I don't plan on changing it. The truck has 140,000 miles on it. Should I pull the camshaft position sensor off of the top and squirt a little oil in there to help keep that bearing lubed?
