91 3.0 Has been sitting for ten years. consuming alot of oil. No drips.

Agreed . The valve seals have most likely dried out and are letting it suck oil past the guides. A few rings are probably stuck as well.
But don't overlook the simple. Check / replace the PCV valve. It is cheap , easy to replace , and can also cause excessive oil consumption.
