3.0 Heater hoses

2003 ranger 3.0 heater hoses small drip at that plastic piece in the middle and it has the two small hoses going no where.... used for the throttle body colder climates..... i was thinking about using straight 3/4 hose as the stock ones are $$$... then i thought about putting a brass connector between the hoses and clamps but they are that old.... thought i would ask here first

Yes, popular choice to get rid of those "T's", either way, new hose or connector in place of "T"

RonD, any idea of what size T to use if one wants to keep the T configuration. As it looks like one end is smaller than the other 2 and there are different sizes available for sale? Thanks

Going with Dorman hose connectors part #47080 3/4''

Update... Do not cut the hose beyond the plastic connector i did this to the upper one.... at that connection the hose size is 3/4 using pliers crack the plastic and remove the bits inside hose, then you can fit the 3/4'' dorman part..... now i have to replace the upper heater hose with straight 5/8th hose, (forced the 3/4 in upper one but its a bit short)..... so in other words the hose at both ends is 5/8th.... center where the plastic crap is its 3/4 " hope this helps others

I ended up replacing both Tees with the 3/4 x 3/4 x 3/8 just to keep it the way it was designed although I don't experience cold weather where I live. Thanks for the help and input
