Good evening all. I'm installing a newer 3.0 in my Ranger. The original engine has 227000 on it and it's getting tired. The engine that's available is a low mileage 2002 Taurus 3.0. They say it will fit with minor parts changed over. My question is; Is the flywheel bolt pattern the same? The 2002 3.0 is an automatic and the 1993 3.0 is a 5-speed.
