Spark, fuel, crank no start

Spark, fuel, crank no start
Hello everyone, I have a 2.3 ranger its a 1991. It was my first truck i drove for a few years. In 2016 we parked it and couldn't get it to start back so we left it.
I am trying to bring it back to life. I just put a brand new fuel pump in it. But i cannot get it running.
It has great spark, its getting fuel, fuel pump is engaging.
It will crank and crank but never try to start.
I sprayed fuel in intake did not help, based off past posts i'm seeing it has to be on spark side but spark is perfect.
I then checked timing belt and it is spinning as it should.
I can only guess a few things but trying to narrow it down.
Could the timing have slipped a tooth causing this?
The other thing was the crank position sensor. If it went out would it still spark or stop spark completely?
Hopefully i can get some ideas on what this could be, i'm guessing either timing slipped a tooth or it needs a crank position sensor.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum
1991 will have a CEL(check engine light) on the dash
CEL should come on with key on, this means the computer has booted up OK
CEL should go OFF as soon as you start cranking the engine over, this means computer is getting a Timing Pulse from the ICM(spark module), ICM gets timing pulse from crank sensor
ICM was a common failure on the 1989-1994 2.3l models, having spark is good, having spark at the right time is required
If possible test compression in 2 cylinders, above 150psi would be expected, under 130psi would be a slipped timing belt

Thank you for the quick reply.
So I did do a compression test on 2 cylinders. One read about right at 130. The other cylinder was reading 60
ICM would be looked at if no spark correct?
The CEL light does go off when cranking
I checked the timing belt behind the cover and it feels tight and does spin as it should. Could jumping a tooth cause it no start?
