So I can't remember if I...

Posted this already or not. I have a 1992 ranger with low rpm acceleration issues and bad mileage. Could this be attributed to the fact that some turd before me put a cherry bomb on it and its catless? If not any other possibly solutions to the problem would be greatly appreciated.

That probably has something to do with it. Since its a 92 I would go through the whole truck. Plugs, filters etc.

been through the whole truck, foudn out there was a clogged tube on teh bottom of the intake running to a carbon canister? and also my 1 and 4 ports on the primary coil had no spark. still runs rough at low rpms and part throttle. but runs alot better over all,.

4 banger thread, i took for granted that everyone knew teh 92 ranger had 2.3l, i shoulda posted more specific 2.3l with 5spd fuel injected, found out i have a bad primary coil, i swapped it with the waste coil. it runs better still not perfect, now i have to worry bout the manual trans being stuck in 1st gear.
