Rough acceleration

When taking off and going through the gears the engine runs kind of rough until it reaches a certain rpm then smooths out. It will also smooth out if I floor it while it is rough. I changed the plugs and fuel filter, but not the wires yet. Any ideas? Could it be the throttle position switch?

Thanks

Mine has 8 also. It was doing it before I changed them. Before I changed them, It would barely pull itself on the highway. I also changed the O2 sensor. Here's what the old plugs looked like. Driver side on the right. #1 cylinder closest to the camera. It's not the best picture but you get an idea
of why it ran so badly.

Should use copper plugs ... it will last longer.
