New Belt But Do I Need Suspenders

Hi all,

I have to do the timing belt on my ’96 2.3, 5 sp, Ranger. While in there I want to do all the parts that are “wear items” – below is what I plan to R & R. Are there any other items I should consider?

Timing belt and tensioner,

Water pump, thermostat, upper & lower hoses,

Alt drive belt & idler pulley,

FWIW, when I looked under the front to see where the rad drain is I spotted fresh coolant dripping off the steering arm. I suspect from the location of the drip, center of the truck, it is likely to be the water pump.

Thank you
