Cold motor question???
I live on a hill and I notice when I first start the truck up and drive up the hill the truck boggs down but just for a couple seconds then runs good. If I turn down the hill and go there is no bogg at all. It doesn't matter what the temp is outside either. Im curious to why this happens? If you can help let me know. Thanks
Truck is a 2002 2.3L 2WD 5 speed manual.

I know its due to the lack of oil to complete the seal in the combustion chamber. The oil isn't near the pick up tube till it
on level ground. It can cause some premature wear on you motor from running dry for a few seconds every time you start it with the front off the truck facing down hill. Might want to add one of those additives for some protection. Z-Max, Slick 50 or something like that. Good Luck..

thats a false statement
one of your heater circuits in your upstream o2 sensors is probably on its way out so the sensor is not heating up fast enough to respond....oil has nothing to do with it. the oil is always at the pick up tube, if there is more than a quart of oil in the engine, the pick up is submerged in oil
