Bad PCM

First time poster
I have a 2001 ranger 2.3L 5 speed manual
I had a code for, Knock Sensor 1 Circuit, P0325 I think. Of course this made the computer, trying to advance the timing too far and not hearing any knocks, but reporting misfires. The misfires are expected.
What I checked:
The sensor .5M ohms I think(not open)
the 2 wires to PCM had no shorts to ground/power/or each other, good continuity from sensor connector to pins 32, and 57 of the PCM.

I could not find out how many ohms/volts/ground that should be at this sensor connector. So I went to the scrap yard and checked 3 other cars that used the same sensor. each wire had 1M ohm to ground and, 2 M ohms between wires.

Mine had open to ground and open between wires. I pulled the PCU it showed open between pins 32, 57. they were also open to all ground pins.

Conclusion: Bad PCM

RonD said "You should be able to use 2001-2003 Ranger 2.3l" part number 1L5A-12A650-??? Mine being 1L5A-12A650-APF. Match the -APF of the part number and the Manual trans in the scrap yard.
I plan on using FORScan to get the Pats cleared and working with key. And VIN into the used PCM and ABS modules.
I have the: As-Built data,

? Do I have this covered? I just looking to find any of those unexpected "Got-yea's" that ford might have for me.
