Hello Guys
Its been a while since I posted I was breezing with no problems.........until today :(
I changed oil on my truck It has aluminum oil pan an bolt on pan started leaking
I had changed oil last week an noticed it was not getting better
I had purchased some gaskets for plug I drained oil an reused after putting new gasket on
This is first time I ever drained "new" oil and put back in truck. I noticed after putting oil
back in, there were "brass" specs in pan i used.:( i have nothing to compare this to past oil changes
So Is there someone that can stop the anxiety Im now having? Or is my engine coming to its end?
I have 264,000 miles,change oil faithfully I have been using synthetic 5 20 for "high mileage" engine
Any help be appreciated

No, I don't think I would be too concerned..................................and what could you do about it in any case, it will run until it doesn't

 

It will either settle on the bottom of the pan or the oil filter will get it before it goes through the engine.

I wouldn't be worried.

 

You dont think something is starting to disintegrate in engine? or could I be lucky an its wear n tear? lol
