1 inch is basically lift, place block, bolt down.
this is a pretty good thread that shows the process.

Search for info on the 1" body lift here on the forums. People have done them before, I'm sure it was discussed what issues they ran into. My guess is it's not nearly as complex, just make sure you don't have any binding or stretched to the max lines/wires/hoses, etc. $1200 is retarded considering the kit costs 200. If you have that kind of money to blow, get a suspension lift. And it's not that hard to do, buy a case of beer, and set aside a weekend, and follow the instructions, and any how-to's you can find on here, and TRS and RPS forums.

^^Agreed, $1200 is way to much. My local shop did my buddy's 2002 with a 2" for $800 installed, and I thought that was a lot. I did mine in my driveway in one day by myself from 8am to about 3pm, until my buddy got off work, and we finished it up by about 5. The bed was super easy, took like 30 min, the cab was where the real work was. Gotta take out the jumpseats to get to the rear bolts, and it has a T-50 torx on it that holds the seatbelt to the jumpseat, so make sure you pick one of those up, and a T-55 for the bed bolts. I did it with a ratchet and a 4ft pipe to stick on the end, and it worked just fine. I used mostly basic tools until my buddy got there with his compressor and impact gun. So it really is that easy. I am pretty mechanically inclined, but I had absolutely no experience, I just followed the instructions and dove in. As long as you've got a reliable ratchet, an extra set of hands, and a good jack (preferably a hi-lift), you're set. I guess I'll end my novel now.

Anyone have severe sqeuking after bL? Mine sounds like a puppy crying inside the cab. Everything tight thouh. Coming from rear of cab. And on top of that there is vertical play in the stearing wheel now. I would say about 1/4" of movement. It can wiggle i back and forthe like you can push it forward towards the dash n pull it back towards driver seat slightly. I did not do it myself btw. Local shop offered to do lift for 300 bucks so i could not refuse especially cuz it was done in one day after work and didnt loose days pay.

Ill try tightening them again but i mean it was immediately after. I checked torque... Thought that it was the rear seats maybe movin around a lil extra cuz of the brick **** house ride after bL and keys and crank. As for the wheel i just wanted to check cuz i took it on and off 3 times thinking i could tighten it up or thro something in there to shim it tight like a good ol redneck. Thanks for the info

The threads on the bolts are probably bottomed out--try using a couple of hardened flat washers to gain some extra threads.
