1 inch or 3 inch body lift

Well the time for my warranty to expire is finally arriving and it's time to do my BL The local shop wants $1200 to install one that i purchase, I looked at PA's instructions for doing a 3 inch body lift, and it looks a little complex for my skill level, I'm just wondering is it easier to install a 1 inch BL compared to a 3inch BL, I don't mid working around the body mounts but when it comes to brake lines and engine hoses I'm a little worried i might mess something up. So does anyone know if you have to remove the same stuff for a 1 inch body lift or is it just the mounting bolts and hoist away.

The 3 inch body list is alil more detailed, you do have the extend ground wires, radiator, shifter if you have a manual, check all lines, etc, etc but again its not something thats to hard just can be alil time consuming dealing with every little thing. If you have knowdlege of your truck and can do atleast some work you will be fine just might take alittle longer. Id go with the 3 because eventually you will wanna go bigger to atleast fit 33's because the ranger is so small of a truck. I know everyone always says that and I didnt believe it either and just thought a 1 inch body with 32's would be fine but it wont last, not with as small as the ranger is, you will want it to atleast be on 33's.

First off dont pay $1200 you can get it done WAY cheaper. If you are going to spend that you might as well buy a suspension lift for not to much more money.

I would go with a 3in BL since there is really any gains from a 1in.

If you are going to do it, do it right.
