2007 Ford Ranger for $12,500 or Reasonable Best Offer located in USA - Maine.
Category: Clean Title
Status: Domestic
I have a 2007 Ford Ranger for sale, in USA - Maine.
Mileage: 78000 miles
Engine Size: 4.0
Asking price is $12,500 or Reasonable Best Offer
Up for sale is my 2007 Ranger Sport. I have owned this truck since brand new, purchased right off the dealer lot in April of 2007. 2 door supercab 4x4 with cloth buckets and shorty console. 4.0 V6 and 5 speed automatic transmission with approx: 78,000 miles on it. Truck has 3:73 gears. The truck is still driven daily so the mileage will go up.
This truck has been meticulously maintained since I bought it and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
Options:
vinyl floor
buckets with shorty console
power windows, door locks, mirrors and cruise,
2 sets of keys with remotes
single cd mp3 with aux in
fog lights
sport package with color matched flares, handles, bumpers, mirror caps, and grille
Mods:
I had the bed sprayed with line-x within 2 months of purchasing the truck
265/75-16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs with ~30k on them. still have more
then half tread left
Torsion bars have been cranked to level
Access Roll up bed cover
Diablosport tuned and speedo corrected for larger tires
Full K&N intake
4 upgraded pioneer speakers in the doors and supercab panels
(truck is fully wired for a sub and an amp, however they will not be included with the sale, partly because I don't have them anymore. The stock stereo in the truck has been out since 2008 and i just put it back in fall of 2013. The after market stereo is now in my car and is not being included in the sale
Flowmaster Super 44 with duals out the back to 3 inch slash cut tips. That exhaust set up has been on the truck since 2009, however in the summer of 2013 i replaced the muffler and pipes back to the tips so its only about a year old, manifolds and everything before the muffler is factory. I do have the factory muffler that will go with the sale.
Truck was undercoated before even being driven off the lot
Truck did not come from the factory with with a hitch, however it did come with a 4 prong trailer harness. within 2 months of buying the truck, a class III Reese hitch was installed
The truck will also come with an over the rail tool box. It was a freebee and i primed and painted it and tossed it in the bed of the truck. It doesn't have keys or the bar that connects the latches, if you want it you can have it, if not its just going to collect dust in my attic.
The Bad:
Center console armrest is broken, i fixed it myself and it works for what i needed it for so i didnt worry about fixing it completely
Truck was hit in the parking lot at school about a year after purchase in the fall of 2008. It was hit behind the driver side rear tire (please see pictures) There was no body damage to the body or the flare, just paint damage. As you can see the work has not held up over time and it is bubbling a little bit, and unfortunately because of how the situation was handled, i can not do anything about it.
The Flare on the same side, same wheel does have some clear coat peeling (see picture)
The driver side rocker panel is missing some paint from getting in and out of the truck so much and the front bumper is missing a spot of paint in about the size of a quarter
Other then that the paint still shines like the day it rolled off the lot. That being said it is a 7 year old truck, and was used as a work truck during the summers from 2008-2013 while i was running a landscaping company. During those summers it was hauling a 10 ft box trailer with mowers in it, and it has towed various other trailers, well within the trucks capacity. I was a full time student so it was not a full time work truck. There are scratches and scuffs on the paint from various places, but with a full buff and detail they will come right out. That being said the truck has only driven 15k miles in the last 3 years. I upgraded to a diesel and this truck was a run around truck for me, currently my retired father is driving it so the mileage will only increase very little.
All of the service on the truck, other then 2 sets of front rotors and pads that I did personally, has been done by a Ford garage since purchase, using only Motorcraft parts. This includes all oil changes and services per Fords recommendation. about 15k miles ago, the truck had a major service, including all new fluids in the transmission, cooling system, front and rear differentials, transfer case, and brake system. The plugs and wires and coil pack were brand new about 5k miles ago.
I have the original window sticker and I have all of the receipts and paper work from just about every visit it made to the dealer. Most of them all are from the same dealer. I have receipts for the tires and the tire shop, including a receipt from every time they rotated the tires (lifetime rotation). I also have receipts for most if not all of the modifications to the truck. I kept this truck fully documented as I was planning on keeping it forever but times have changed and I must move on.
I think I have covered just about everything and hopefully I am not missing anything, please browse through the pictures and if you have any questions please feel free to PM me on here. I do not have to sell this truck, it is paid off and I have the title in hand, and I do not have the time to deal with tire kickers and low ballers. I am asking 12,500 or best reasonable offer. If you are serious I will provide you with a phone number and we can talk. The truck is located in Auburn, ME at my parents house, so all in person deals will be going through my dad. I personally am located in Wilmington DE, but the truck will not be with me unless I have a committed buyer paying for me to bring the truck down.
Again any questions, feel free to ask!
