2006 Ranger Sport 4x4 Ext Cab 4.0 Auto

I am considering selling my Ranger but haven't decided yet. I would like to reach out to the community to get opinions about how much should I ask for it. I would also like to see how much interest is out there.

Here are the details:
2006 4.0L V6, 4X4, Automatic, Extended Cab
86,000 miles

I would say that this truck is somewhere between good to excellent condition. Clean Carfax. Well maintained. Clean inside and out. The outside has a handful of minor dings and a few scratches. All of the glass is good, no chips or cracks. It has a few mods done to it, a cold air intake with high flow filter, a Flowmaster muffler which currently has a turndown, no tailpipe, tinted windows. Tires are in good shape, I would say they have at least 50% treadlife left.

What would be a fair asking price?

This is the most recent picture I have, taken yesterday:

The truck has also been wired for a winch, out the front and the back also. It has an auxiliary battery inside the toolbox in the bed. I added a receiver hitch to the front end. These mods can stay or they can go, depending on the offer. I'm keeping my winch! None of it has ever actually been used, and other than minimal dirt roading, the truck has really never been used off road.

I'll post some more pics if I see any interest. Thanks for looking!

I'm sure there's interest. And being in the south, decent trucks typically sell pretty quickly. Assuming that the price is fair, of course. I'm in the market for another Ranger myself. I've owned many cars and trucks over the years and my Rangers were the only ones I really loved. I'm driving a '98 Silverado right now and I HATE it. So, I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding people who want to take it off your hands. As far as price, it sounds like a pretty solid truck. Start with book and go from there. Worst a prospective buyer can do is giver you an offer you don't want to accept.

Good luck with the sale if you decide to go that route. Nice truck.

I'd be possibly interested. Where are you out of? I'm SOL if it's not Cali.
