1998 Ford Ranger for $2500.00 located in USA - Pennsylvania.

Category: Clean Title
Status: Domestic

I have a 1998 Ford Ranger for sale, in USA - Pennsylvania.

Mileage: 140000 miles

Asking price is $2500.00

1998 Ford ranger 5.0 automatic 4x4. Has roughly 140k miles on it. Upgraded leather seats with heat, center console, 12in sub, tool box, alcoa aluminum wheels, lock out front hubs. Truck needs some work. It has a miss due to a bad plug wire, windshield has a crack in it, also needs a front drive shaft for 4x4 to work again.

Yeah, ok, I was reading your swap posts and there are some pics there and a video. The miss you are talking about (plug wire), I'm worried about that. Also, I (coincidentally) have a 98 Mountaineer for sale, would you be interested in a trade? It's on Craigslist 1998 Mercury Mountaineer 5.0 V8 AWD

Odds are the video was when I had a coil pack unplugged? Don't remember. The miss I am talking about is plain as day a plug wire. Id rather not trade. I am trying to slim the collection down as it is

I understand, That's an ambitious endeavor you conquered there. Awesome ride you ended up with kanuk15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's what I would love to have in my '92 but it's a little trickier with mine especially with 4x4. To my knowledge anyway.

Its pretty simple, for yours it takes a few more aftermarket parts to work but will still work just fine.

Just curious is this a "four door"? I don't know what year they started with the extended cab doors? Also the "rattle" and refence to a bum junk yard motor you spoke of in your swap thread, do you think it's piston slap from wear or valve train or????? Also, what transmission did you end up installing?
