1997 Reg Cab Vinyl Bench

I have a 3.0 Reg Cab 1997 xl with Vinyl bench.

There's actually a decent yard near me that seems to have alot of Ranger seats.

What seat will actually bolt RIGHT UP, with NO modifications. I've seen the page that shows topaz, explorer and others and I assume they all need some type of mods.

Are there ANY Ranger seats, like the 60/40 Bench in 1992 to 1997 that will bolt right up, or is the only thing that will bolt right up, another Bench from that 1992 to 1997?

Sorry if I rambled there. I guess the main question is will 1997 (or 1994 etc.) 60/40 split bench, bolt right up to my truck? (I elaborated more above because I want to know if ANYTHING else bolts right up as well)...

PS - Not necessarily looking for an upgrade....this is more of a repair issue....the (i assume BIG) guy who had the truck prior literally collapsed the seat....so I'm riding around like a Midget.

with a solid bench, there are only 4 holes drilled in the floor. to put buckets in, you will have to drill two holes per seat (inner near trans tunnel). but once you have done that, up to 97 reg cab ranger seats will bolt right in. also, once you get 97 older reg cab seat tracks, you can use this list. they are all bolt in using the 97 reg cab seat tracks.

I just put bronco II seats in my reg cab.

bolted right up to the reg cab tracks, and right in the truck.

also, depending on what you are looking for, check out my for sale thread. i can recover them in almost any material or design you want.

Great info! Thank you!

My bench seat is collapsed on the drivers side. It look slike it was nthing but the foam itself supporting the weight originally. How hard would it be to fix this?
