Throttle bodies?

Does anyone make any Throttle bodies for the 4.0L SOHC? or even Spacers? If so are they even worth the upgrade?

I've heard they are not worth it. The only company that makes them is pro-m.

I know poweraid makes them.

TB Spacers

As far sa them actually helping...that's up for debate. Some say they do, but most say they're pointless.

a TB spacers DOES NOTHING for the long runner plenum design of your engine. dont waste your money on it. as far as the TB, i dont think anyone makes it. ive been playing with the idea of making my own, but we already have a few things on our plate now, maybe down the road

1/2 shafting is good. I did that on my 3.0.

TB spacers were good for downdraft carbeurators and TBI systems. They gave the fuel/air a chance to mix and bend around the turn into the manifold eeasier.

The problem is that sidedraft, long plenum systems like ours really don't need them. There's a ton of space already behind the TB, and in addition, our port injected engines don't even mix air/fuel until right over the valve -- meaning a little length at the TB isn't going to do ANYTHING.

So, the spacers did have their place at one time -- but modern engine configurations don't benefit from them.
