I've had this for a week, was just too lazy to take pictures and post them up. But, I was roaming around on craigslist, and found an STX grille... already black like my truck, for $75. I thought the lady was too far away, so I didn't bother for a few days. Found out she was only 30 minutes away, and she met me half way. It's got a couple tiny scratches, but not anything worse than my stock grille. Here are a few pics. Let me know what ya think.







Still haven't decided if I'm gonna change out the ford emblem for a my color matched one. My color matched one doesn't look too good, I may try to re-do it at some point.

BTW, ignore my bumper.. it's scratched to hell and some paint is flaking off. Eventually it'll get re-painted or replaced with a custom bumper.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty happy with it. I thought about selling it after picking it up, but I like the way it looks, so I'm gonna end up keeping it.

I will clean up my old billet grille (upper and lower) and sell those soon. Also have a 04-05 black surround and stock grille insert I need to get rid of.

 

Looks really clean, I prefer the billets. It looks good either way though. You did good.

 

Can’t blame you for keeping it, looks good.

Put the lower grille in and see how it looks with the STX Grille, could be OK.

If you ever do sell the STX Grille don’t forget your buds on R-F.com.


ADDED: Just noticed your first pic has the lower grille in place… I like that setup more than the open space.
